For almost two decades, Dans le Noir ? has been transforming the dining experience by immersing guests in complete darkness. In February 2025, we took a major step forward with the opening of our first restaurant in Asia, in Hong Kong, in partnership with Le Méridien Cyberport Hong Kong.

 

A unique concept crossing borders

Already present in 11 countries and 16 cities worldwide, Dans le Noir ? continues its international expansion, aiming to bring an extraordinary culinary experience to an ever-growing audience. Hong Kong, a dynamic and cosmopolitan metropolis, was an obvious choice to introduce this sensory and inclusive approach.

Designed in collaboration with the chef of Le Méridien Cyberport and our sensory experts, it is crafted to awaken the taste buds in an extraordinary setting. Deprived of sight, our guests are invited to rely on their other senses, rediscover the joy of tasting, and fully focus on flavors. The experience can also be paired with a food & wine pairing option for an even more immersive culinary adventure.

Dans le Noir ? is based on a unique model: our servers are blind or visually impaired individuals, trained by our expert teams. They guide guests throughout the meal, reversing traditional roles and raising awareness about disability perception. This initiative is part of our commitment to inclusion and accessibility.
