Press and Product Launches: when discovery becomes a shared, original moment

  • Jack Daniel’s – sensory press day: the spirits brand called on our expertise to design an immersive workshop to discover three whiskies (including two premium launches) and signature cocktails. 100 invited journalists explored the aromas blindfolded before a final reveal in the light. An immersive and emotional experience serving the product storytelling. 
     
  • Pain Jacquet – blind product launch: the brand privatised our Paris space for a sensory tasting of classic and new breads. An original format combining internal training and team-building, highlighting product quality and brand innovation. 
     
  • Michel & Augustin: a friendly workshop for employees, combining a blind tasting of aperitif products and an immersive dinner to extend the shared experience. 
     
  • Nocturnos by Javier Pérez Campos – immersive literary launch: to mark the release of Javier Pérez Campos’ new book (Grupo Planeta), Dans le Noir ? Madrid hosted a literary dinner in total darkness. Journalists discovered extracts of the novel between courses, enhanced by a sound and sensory staging created by the author. The evening continued in a softly lit lounge for exchanges, book signings and interviews. A unique experience where literature, mystery and gastronomy come together to awaken the senses and imagination. 

Training and Team-Building: when learning meets immersion and emotion

  • L’Oréal (Lancôme): we created a unique, customised experiential training combining active listening and creativity. New employees, as part of their onboarding, participate in this CSR immersion at Dans le Noir ?, including an ice-breaker “everyday challenges” in total darkness and a “silent” breakfast in light. An innovative and impactful format fostering focus, awareness and wellbeing for newcomers. 

  • Darphin: introduction of new products to internal teams in a private and intimate setting, ideal for awakening the senses and discovering products differently.

Our teams also deploy the Dark Lab, a mobile sensory box from Dans le Noir ?, to create on-site activations with strong emotional and sensory impact. •  The Dark Box at the Paris International Agriculture Show: in partnership with the Grand Est Chamber of Agriculture and the Grand Est Region, we offered blind tastings in the Dark Lab. Thousands of visitors rediscovered local specialities in a playful, educational and CSR-focused experience. 

•  Comédie de Genève – An inclusive five-senses experience: for the 10th anniversary of Switzerland’s ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the theatre hosted a day dedicated to inclusion and sensory discovery. Open to the public, thousands attended to explore the five senses through workshops. Dans le Noir ? Genève offered an immersive tasting of its signature dessert, guided by our blind and partially sighted teams. A friendly, educational and engaging experience promoting inclusion and sensory awareness. 

•  Sedan Fair – Highlighting local products: with CCI Marne Ardennes, CMA Grand Est and the Ardennes Chamber of Agriculture, over 520 participants experienced an immersive tasting featuring 12 local products. A sensory activity that delighted both the public and producers, some of whom ran out of stock!

•  Louis Vuitton – The touch of craftsmanship: we designed an immersive tactile journey in total darkness, inviting guests to explore different leather textures through touch. Without sight, participants rediscover the richness of materials, the fine grain, and the artistry involved, highlighting the brand’s craftsmanship and sensory depth. 

•  Dior Couture – Sensory scarf discovery: in a bespoke boutique workshop, Dior offered VIP clients an intimate, poetic discovery. Blindfolded participants first explored the scents and textures of the collection before revealing the scarves in light. An emotional, elegant experience showcasing fabric quality and creativity while placing senses at the heart of the client relationship. 

•  Hermès & Dior – Olfactory emotion: both houses also commissioned our expertise to create immersive scent workshops around their iconic fragrances. In a visually distraction-free environment, participants relied solely on their sense of smell, diving into the olfactory DNA of the brand. These bespoke experiences create an intimate, emotional connection where every note tells a story.
