Our main partner in England is Fredericks Foundation. Paul Barry Walsh its Founder and Chairman actively supported the project and helped to finance “Dans le Noir ?” in London.

Paul Barry-Walsh visited "Dans le Noir ?" in Paris in the Summer of 2004 and was so impressed he wanted to bring it to London. The concept of "Dans le Noir ?" is an ideal fit with the Fredericks Foundation ethos of helping people to help themselves. Fredericks has provided both investment and support to help the success of the restaurant.

Fredericks Foundation helps people realise their potential often through support to individuals who wish to start-up their own business and become self-employed. It aims to help people who often have nowhere to turn when trying to help themselves, or who are perhaps recovering from distressing personal situations.

Fredericks helps start 3 businesses a week making low interest loans to single parents, long term unemployed, the disabled and ex offenders. These groups are often not suited to conventional employement neither are they often given the opportunity.

With no one else to help fund them they would need to rely on the state and as such would be economically inactive. Fredericks will save the Treasury about £20,000,000 over the next 3 years but the real benefit of its works is in the self esteem that these fledgling entrepreneurs gain.

Fredericks Foundation believes individuals with a passion to succeed, and a quest for developing knowledge and skills, should be given the opportunity to do so.

« Friends of Dans le Noir ? » is a simple way for foundations and companies to support the project in England.

What is Friends of "Dans le Noir ?"

The companies, institutions, media, foundations, that want to support this project and use it for corporate events and communication.

"Friends of Dans le Noir ?" commit themselves to private hire or corporate use of Dans le Noir to a minimum of £20K per annum of professional services.

Charities and foundations do not have to make this commitment.

In addition, each Friend of "Dans le Noir ?" agrees to build with "Dans le Noir ?" an internal or external communication and marketing plan linked with their activity.

Friends of "Dans le noir ?" will receive a discount for all their employees (5% off and free welcome drink) to "Dans le Noir ?".

Friends of "Dans le Noir ?" Will be listed in the entrance of the restaurant and on a special page in the menu.

Friends of "Dans le Noir ?" will enjoy special price for Corporate and commercial events managed by our teams, for seminar and professional meetings (such as press conference or brainstorming in the dark). In general 7% off.

Our team will be ready to study all professional program to help our friends to promote their brands or product if it respects the ethics and objectives of "Dans le Noir ?" project.
